Tour explores the San Francisco waterfront including Fisherman's Wharf, Marina Green, Fort Mason, and the Marina.
Training takes 30-40 minutes, tour is two hours long (total: 2 1/2 hours.)
Tour stops for refreshments and lots of photos.
Ages 12 and up. People under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Tours are limited to 9 riders and reservations are required.
Riders must be over 100 pounds and less than 250 pounds.(46-113 Kilos) Be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail. Rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand.
Tour Overview
After a 30-40 minute training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the San Francisco waterfront for a full two hours!
All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early.

Who can ride a Segway ? Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?
Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike—it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. That's why we offer 20-30 minutes of training so you can get familiar with the most innovative transportation device of the new millennium!
We will practice on the Segway until everyone feels comfortable and ready to tour San Francisco!
Requirements - The San Francisco Segway Tour has only a few restrictions. Riders must:
· be between the ages of 12 and 65.
· Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian
· be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.
· Rider must be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand.
· weigh between 100 and 250 pounds (36 to 113 kilos)
· wear the helmet and safety vest that is provided with the tour
· sign a liability waiver
· complete the Segway rider training and test ride
· provide a credit card for security deposit
· respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride
The training consists of walking the customer through a simulated obstacle course consisting of ramps, cones, turns and an emergency stop to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues.

We reserve the right to change the size of the tour to meet requests for that specific day. San Francisco is famous for the fog! Our tours run fog, rain or shine. We always suggest multiple layers of warm clothing for any San Francisco activity. Summer afternoons can be in the 50's. Rain gear is available for those infrequent rainy days. Segways ® are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog /weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.
